I recently came across a book (in electronic format) about a man who happens to be on the wrong end of a nuclear explosion, and the entire writing is about the last second of his life. In that one second he goes on a magnificent a journey, meeting Shakespeare, the Devil and other interesting characters. It’s one of those books that rather shakes loose our innate fear of death while at the same time reflecting on living. You might enjoy it!
