That is so cool to know. The more I think about this book, the more I like it - I can see how it was deemed worthy of an award. It's always a pleasant surprise when you can read such an outlandish tale told with such precise and well-constructed prose. That the bizarre managed to appeal to certain commonalities of emotion also points to Donihe's talent.

Good review! House of Houses is an amazing book that deserves a lot more attention than it's gotten. It was also the winner of last year's Wonderland Book Award, presented by the Bizarro community for the year's best Bizarro books.
